WHY WE DO WHAT WE DO

Stoneworks Mill was created to fill meaningful needs.  These needs were the needs of our family and the needs of our customers.

We have worked hard to make this small family company a blessing to our family and we can say with a certainty, that it is a wonderful part of our lives.

We also feel that our focus on community and good quality, original art supplies fits the needs of many artists.

Stoneworks Mill is a passion project for us.  

It enables us to use our knowledge of science, technology, research, nature and art in a way that is very satisfying and rewarding.

Since 2017 we have traveled through the United States finding pigment sources from Maine to Virginia, to Colorado to Maryland.
