Why do we put bees on many of our product labels and swag? We use a lot of honey in our paints but also, we believe in a supportive, kind art community.
We have worked to develop enduring and positive relationships within our local and our world wide art community.

We have an amazing online community but we also like to interact with people and organizations near our studio and offices!
One of our favorite events to run in our local community involves teaching little ones how to safely make paint!

Since the very day we opened our shop we have worked hard to support other small businesses in our art community through collaborations.
One of our favorite collaborations was with Resophonic Comics.
In 2019 we worked together to create a giveaway for the launch of his amazing Handmade Voyager Watercolor Palettes.
These clever palettes are masterfully made by hand and provide magnetic space to hold paints and a water resistant area for mixing. They come in various sizes and are made of beautiful, high quality wood. (see link below)

We have used our online platforms to create giveaways. Each time we do a giveaway we design it so that members of the community can interact with one another and bolster each other up!
One of our most beloved giveaways focused on makers in Pennsylvania, our home state. We asked participants to comment and tag those individuals who are "home" to them.
We teamed up with Sketchbook Co., Branch and Brush, and Artwork by Baugh to offer this wonderful giveaway.
Sketchbook Co. crafts exquisite handmade sketchbooks and journals. Most of their sketchboooks are created with beautiful upcycled books. This company also creates gorgeous handmade watercolor paints. (see link below!)
Branch and Brush make beautiful one-of-a-kind paintbrushes from foraged tree branches. Found on instagram at @branchandbrush.
Artwork by Baugh is a husband and wife team with an eclectic collection of beautiful wares, including artwork and jewelry. Found on instagram as @Artwork_by_Baugh.

An Announcement
Hello all,
We had intended to spend some time away from the studio, and online shop, to rest and refresh over the holiday season, and then return strong in January.
However, some unexpected family events have occurred that will require us to put the shop on pause until further notice.
We apologize for any inconvenience and hope to be up and running again soon, once we have things sorted with our family obligations.
Caring for our family is the most important aspect of our lives, especially for our elderly family members.
